The Wireless Energy Manager is powered by the energy it harvests from the CT clamp on the main incoming tails at the fuse board / consumer unit while charging your vehicle.
The Wireless Energy Manager has a re-chargeable back up battery and it's possible to have a flat battery if not enough energy is harvested from the CT clamp. This can happen if you con't charge your car regularly.
When you see this message in the S&P App, the Wireless Energy Manager battery needs to be recharged.
Recharge the battery by plugging a power source with the USB-C cable provided into the back of the Wireless Energy Manager for a couple of hours.
If there are no sockets nearby, you can try connecting a power bank / portable charger to charge the battery.
After the battery has recharged for a couple of hours, press the pair button on the back of the Wireless Energy Manager. You should see a blue LED come on inside the Wireless Energy Manager.
Once the battery has recharged it should automatically reconnect to your charger.
If the message in the S&P App does not go away after recharging the battery and pairing the Wireless Energy Manager, you might need to unpair the Wireless Energy Manager from the charger and then pair it again.

When the Wireless Energy Manager has disconnected from your charger, the charger will reverted to a failsafe charge rating to avoid overloading your fuse.
This means that your car will charge at a slower rate until the battery has been recharged and the Wireless Energy Manager is reconnected with the charger.
If your Wireless Energy Manager was installed in 2022 and does not have a USB-C port on the back please contact Simpson & Partners if the battery is flat.
